The A635 Doncaster Road at Hickleton has been closed following the incident, with traffic being diverted through Thurnscoe.
South Yorkshire Police said this afternoon, Friday, October 16, shortly before 3pm, that the road was likely to be closed for ‘some time’ while recovery is arranged and diesel cleared from the road.
They added that no other vehicles were involved and no one had been injured.
