The latest traffic and travel news for Doncaster as snow disruption continues

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice remains in place this morning.

Doncaster CCG said Covid vaccination sites are open today but urged people to only travel if it is safe.

A spokesperson said people with appointments who can’t make them should call their GPs to rearrange.

Some bus routes are once again running as normal, but others remain reduced.

A First South Yorkshire spokesperson said: “[The] Doncaster network will operate all routes, however many will operate along main roads only due to poor road conditions.

"We will be monitoring the conditions throughout the morning and reinstate normal service as soon as it is safe.”

There has been no announcements about train services being affected by the snow but Northern will be introducing a reduced rail timetable from Monday 18 January due to the national lockdown.

Doncaster Council said roads have been gritted overnight.

The following bus services in Doncaster are affected:

X78 will operate direct along Doncaster Road until drivers can assess the roads through Conisborough.

15 service will terminate at Tait Avenue

84a will operate as normal but omit Kirk Bramwith

64a will not serve the Ings estate

51 and 51a will not serve The Avenue or Instonville

14 will not serve Mansfield Road, Florence Avenue, Stapleton Road and Howbeck Drive

54 will not serve Bosworth Road

138 service is suspended

114 diverts at the end of Dovedale Road on to Herringthorpe Valley Road to The Stag roundabout before returning to normal
