Doncaster drivers warned of M18 closures and diversions this week

Drivers in Doncaster have been warned of a series of carriageway closures and diversions on the M18 motorway this week.

Highways England will be carrying out repairs throughout the week – with carriageways closed overnight and diversions in operation.

From tonight until Thursday morning, the southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am each day between J6 and J5 while gantry replacement works take place.

The northbound stretch from J7 to the M62 will be closed for improvement works from 8pm to 6am each night from Monday to Friday.

On Thursday, the southbound route between J1 and J32 for the M1 will be closed for gantry work with diversions in place between 8pm and 6am.

Then on Friday, the road will be closed southbound between J3 and J2 between the same times with diversions in place.

All diversions will be signed from the M18 wth disruption expected to be kept to a minimum.
