Buses will be diverted due to a road closure for resurfacing works in Doncaster

Travel South Yorkshire is advising travellers of a road closure in Doncaster.

Doncaster Road in Kirk Sandall will be closed from midnight on Saturday, April 10, until midnight on Sunday, April 11; and also between the same times on Saturday, April 17 until Sunday, April 18, for resurfacing works.

This will affect First South Yorkshire bus services: 84, 84a, 84b, and the following diversions will be in place:

Service 84 and 84a to Doncaster: Will divert along Sandall Stones Road and Sandall Carr Lane before resuming its normal route.

Resurfacing works

Service 84 and 84a to Barnby Dun/Lindholme: Will divert along Sandall Carr Lane and Sandall Stones Lane before resuming its normal route.

During these dates please use bus stops Church Balk.

Please note due to CV-19 works may be delayed with other Sundays used until 31 May 2021.

*Also there is a bus stop suspension on the A18 Thorne Road/Hatfield Lane (Doncaster) for construction traffic until further notice.
