Burst water main causes road closure and disruption on Doncaster bus route

Officials from the bus company First South Yorkshire said that due a burst water main, Eden Drive, in Askern, is closed.

The firm tweeted this morning that the number 409 services will divert along Coniston Road, Norbreck Road and Rushey Moor Lane before resuming their normal route to Doncaster

A spokesman added: “This will continue to the 26th of January, we apologise for any inconvenience.”
