The kindest cut, as Kynlee helps cancer sufferers

Epworth youngster Kynlee Thurman has raised over £400 for charity - by having her very long hair cut.

Twelve-year old Kynlee was a close friend of the late Alexander Strong of Epworth, and wanted to fundraise for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice where Lexy spent his final days. But she was also keen to donate her hair for wigs for children with cancer.

Her mother, Sharon Thurman, said: “The support she received has been tremendous. Sponsorship came from family, friends and neighbours along with South Axholme Academy and Epworth Primary Academy.” Kynlee is pictured after her cut with hairdresser Paul Gordon and Maxine Strong.
