Teenage boy arrested over hit-and-run in which South Yorkshire woman died

A boy, aged 17, is under arrest over a hit-and-run in which a woman died in Doncaster.

The suspect was arrested by South Yorkshire Police yesterday and is being quizzed over a collision in Station Road, Stainforth, on Saturday afternoon.

He is being held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Susan Gravel, aged 62, was killed after a grey-silver BMW struck the pedestrian and drove off from the scene.
