Sweet treat for charity after cake sale at Doncaster hospital
A team of Doncaster health workers have a sweet treat for charity after raising £326 during a cake sale.
The team, which includes nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and rehabilitation assistants at Tickhill Road Hospital in Balby, held the event to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Zoe Barraclough, of the Alzheimer’s Society, who picked up the cheque, thanked everyone for their efforts. She added: “I’m so pleased to accept this donation.”
