Following the Prime Ministers speech on COVID-19 on Sunday evening, requests started to pour in on who would replace Boris Johnson, should he step down.

Keir Starmer was cut into the 13/8 favourite from 4/1 but support has arrived today for former shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper.

Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Nigel Farage has mocked Johnson’s TV address and punters are now starting to back him to become the next Prime Minister.

“The former UKIP leader is 33/1 from 66/1 but the main bulk of support that arrived with us on Wednesday was for Labour Party politician Yvette Cooper, who is now 28/1 from 50/1.”
