Second-placed AFC Balby, for whom Craig Peason scored five, had to work harder for their 7-5 win over derby rivals Balby Rovers. Jacub Fajujoto bagged a brace.

Paul Barber’s hat trick helped New Cantley return to winning ways with a 5-0 victory at All Saints.

There was also a hat trick for Pete Walmsley as Real Bridge remained three points clear at the top of Division One following their 4-2 win over lowly FC Ivanhoe. Matthew Mears completed the scoring.

AFC Schoolboy beat Sporting Wadworth (Harry Hotham) by the odd goal in five. Nick Howcroft (2), James Marlow, Dan Bewley and Matt Harriman did the damage as Athletico Fairway scored five without reply at home to FC Cumberland.

Rosehill Press held on to fifth spot after beating Willaspoons (Zak Wooldridge 2, Mark Pearson) 4-3.

Dave Buck scored four as Leopard picked up their fifth win in eight starts when beating Wheatsheaf (Doncaster) 9-2.

Second-bottom Team 23 beat Finningley Athletic (Jono Maidment) 2-1 to record their first win of the season.

Former leaders Bentley Top Club continued their slide down the table following their 2-0 defeat at Carpenters Arms, whose goals were shared by Andrew Welsh and Matthew Kilvington.

Rum Rooms Legacy shared six goals with Rossington Welfare.

Club Athletico Regent retained their top-five spot with a 3-1 win at Stainforth (Sam Hanslip).
