Storm Boelo: 'Danger to life' weather warning issued for Doncaster
Forecasters warn flying debris could pose a danger to life as Storm Boelo targets Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England with 80mph gusts.
Flying debris and 80mph gusts could present a danger to life this weekend as Storm Boelo bears down on large swathes of the UK.
The Met Office has implemented amber wind warnings covering Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England, active from 9pm on Saturday until 9pm on Sunday.
Forecasters predict exposed coastal districts could face 80mph gales, while inland locations may see widespread winds reaching between 60mph and 70mph.

Officials warned there is a “good chance” of power cuts, damage to buildings, uprooted trees, and cancellations across rail and flight networks.
The turbulent conditions follow widespread disruption across Wales and south-east England on Friday triggered by Storm Austen, the first named storm of the year.
