Stones are laid for second Sheffield UTC
Civic leaders, educationalists and employers have attended a stone-laying ceremony to mark construction progress on Sheffield's second University Technical College.
The £10 million UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park campus will open this September to specialise in healthcare, sports sciences, and computing.
Construction of the four-storey facility on the Olympic Legacy Park on Attercliffe Common is progressing well.
The ceremony was led by Richard Caborn, Olympic Legacy Park Project Lead, and Coun Julie Dore, Sheffield City Council Leader.
Education and business representatives attended from across Sheffield.
