Rotherham pensioner suffered lifethreatening injuries after mobility scooter crash

A Rotherham pensioner has suffered lifethreating injuries after her mobility scooter crashed.

At around 12.15pm on Wednesday 13 January, a 66-year-old woman riding a black Monarch mobility scooter was involved in a collision in Oldgate Lane, at the junction with Doncaster Road in Thrybergh.

The 66-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries but her condition is now described as life-threatening.

South Yorkshire Police want to hear from anyone who was in the Oldgate Lane or Doncaster Road area between midday and 12.20pm on WednesdayJanuary 13, who may have witnessed the collision.
