Revealed: Doncaster's best Italian restaurant

After weeks of voting, readers chose Ziniz Wine Bar and Restaurant, based on Market Place, Bawtry, and Vivo Italian Restaurant, Bennetthorpe, as the best featured in the Italian of the Year competition.

Carl Fairchild, PA to the manager director at Ziniz, said: “The owners and staff would like to thank all our customers for voting for us, we are very proud to have been voted ‘Best Italian in Doncaster’, it is a great accolade for the business.

“We have been open in Bawtry for 18 years, Ziniz is a third generation family run Italian restaurant, so we now have the new generation of Calzini children also working within the business.

“We only use authentic produce imported direct from Italy and all our menu is made fresh to order from family recipes.

“We really strive to bring our customers an authentic taste of Italian cusine.”

It is not just the food that keeps the customers coming back to Ziniz, it is also the setting.

Carly added: “We have a fabulous courtyard area which is the perfect sun trap for alfresco dining or drinks this summer, we look forward to welcoming you all soon.”
