Revealed: The 10 worst GP surgeries in Doncaster as rated by you

Our list of 10 GP surgeries across Doncaster have been ranked, based on the percentage of patients likely to recommend the practice.

The information comes from responses to the GP Patient Survey, sent out twice a year to around 1.36 million adults registered with a GP in England.

During the survey, patients are asked ‘Would you recommend your GP surgery to someone who had just moved to the area?’

The scores for this question are grouped into three ‘bandings’

* ‘among the worst’ - these are scores in the worst 25% of all scores nationally;

* ‘in the middle range’ - these are scores that are in the middle 50% of scores nationally;

* ‘among the best’ - these are scores that are in the best 25% of scores nationally.

The Doncaster Free Press has ranked the GP surgeries in terms of recommendations, within a ten mile radius of Doncaster town centre.

The Northfield Surgery, Fieldside, Thorne, was named number one in the worst rankings, followed by The Rossington Practice in Grange Lane, Rossington and The Mexborough Medical Practice.
