The packs of nine mixed fuses were sold at Poundworld and Bargain Buys stores and through the Discount Wholesale website.

Urging customers to stop using the products immediately, the company said: “This product, falsely branded as Bussmann, is not up to the required safety standards and presents a possible danger to property or serious injury. Customer safety and satisfaction are of paramount importance to us therefore we have issued this product recall.”

If they have been removed from the package, the fake fuses can be identified by distinctive marks on their labelling.

No genuine Bussmann products sold through Bussmann authorised distributors are affected by this notice and no other Poundworld product is affected by this notice.
