Nigel Farage to return to Doncaster next week as Brexit Party General Election tour comes to town
Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage will return to Doncaster next week as he brings his Brexit Party General Election tour to town.
He will speak at Doncaster Racecourse next Wednesday – and his visit is the latest in a series of appearances in Doncaster by key political figures.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Doncaster Market Place for a whistle stop tour earlier in the year and also returned to meet flood victims in Stainforth.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has made two visits to Doncaster during the flooding while Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson has also met with flood relief volunteers.
And it is the latest in a series of visits by Mr Farage.
He spoke at a Brexit Party conference at the Racecourse earlier this year and has made several previous visits as leader of UKIP.
Doors will open at 10.30am for an 11am start.
Entrance is by ticket only, priced at £2.50.
The party is fielding candidates in all three Doncaster parliamentary constituencies at the General Election on December 12.
