General Election 2019: Full list of candidates and Doncaster constituencies explained


Voters head to the polls on Thursday, December 12 for a third general election in four years.
In Doncaster North, Labour currently has a 14,000 vote majority in this seat. Former Labour leader Ed Miliband is standing again.

The constituency of Doncaster North includes places such as Mexborough, Spotbrough, Moorends, Askern, Stainforth, Carcroft, Fishlake and Bentley.
In Don Valley, incumbent Caroline Flint has the smallest majority in Doncaster’s three seats defending a margin of 5,169
The Conservatives came in second place with 19,182 votes and will be hoping to go one better this time around.

Six candidates are running to be elected as the MP for Doncaster Central.
Labour is defending the seat. Rosie Winterton is standing again and has a majority of 10,131.
Ms Winterton ran to replace John Bercow as Speaker of the House but lost out to Lindsay Hoyle.
