An event showcasing the prospective properties was held at the existing Minden Court development, also in Bentley.

The opening of the complex’s show home is due in January 2023, while the full development is set to be completed in February 2023.

All apartments and bungalows have been designed to be fully accessible for residents and visitors, plus energy efficiency has been prioritised.

There will be an on-site residents’ lounge plus communal gardens.

Cabinet member for Housing and Business, Coun Glyn Jones, said: “Progress on this new affordable housing development has really kicked on since we were last here and it’s great to see the new homes nearing completion. The crucial, next step is getting residents in their new homes and settled.”

“As the cost-of-living crisis takes effect, it’s fantastic to know that these homes are affordable and energy efficient. The fact that 20 new homes have been constructed off site also means that we are protecting and enhancing the natural environment through sustainable development.”

The scheme is located eight miles north of Doncaster city centre, with local amenities nearby.
