Police seal off major road leading towards Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium
Police have sealed off a major road leading towards Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium this morning following an emergency incident.
Middle Bank, the road that leads from White Rose Way towards the stadium, has been closed due to what travel bosses have described as ‘a police incident.’
Travel South Yorkshire said the incident was impacting on bus services and said: “Services 55 and 56 are unable to serve Middle Bank due to a police incident.”
First South Yorks said that services were being disrupted due to the incident.
Changes are as follows
56 outbound: going directly along White Rose Way and resuming service at Lakeside.
55 inbound: normal to Lakeside, 3rd exit back onto Wilmington Drive, White Rose Way, normal service into town at Middle Bank roundabout.
The road is also home to the Tesco distribution depot, the Royal Mail sorting office, the XP School and a number of other businesses.
We have asked South Yorkshire Police for further details.
