Police called after body found in Doncaster

Residents around Royal Avenue, near Broxholme Lane, close to Doncaster town centre, said police were on the scene this afternoon.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious.

A police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to Royal Avenue, Doncaster, at around 12.10pm today (Monday 4 January).

“It is reported that the body of a man in his 40s was found inside a property.

“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
