A serious road traffic collision has occurred this morning in Doncaster – police are asking drivers to avoid the scene.

In a statement South Yorkshire Police have said: “Emergency services are currently on scene following a serious road traffic collision on Edlington Road, Doncaster.

“Police were alerted to the collision at 9.30am this morning (12 April).

“The road remains closed at this time so we ask that drivers please avoid the area where possible.”
