This is the cute moment a Doncaster tot was left stunned – and then smiling with delight with a first birthday surprise which has gone viral.

Little Maeve Rankin can be seen gazing in awe at a bunch of pink balloons and a pile of presents, stopping in her tracks and staring upwards in stunned surprise.

Dad Jake shared the clip – and it has now been viewed more than 100,000 times.

He said: “I posted her reaction to walking in to her presents on Facebook and it went viral. I just think it’s amazing.”

Maeve, who spent the first three days of her life in an incubator with breathing issues, began walking at ten months, two months before her first birthday earlier this month.

Added Jake: “She’s come a long way to being a general superstar!”

Jake and partner Sarah, who live in Kirk Sandall, surprised little Maeve with a trike, mini trampoline and pretend vacuum cleaner.
