Health services at a long-running Doncaster town centre clinic are to move to new premises next month.

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals is moving its mammography, audiology and children’s speech and language therapy services from Chequer Road Clinic on 27 March.

A spokesman said: “Throughout the past number of years, the Trust’s town centre premises have increasingly become unfit for purpose.”

Audiology will move to The Sandringham Practice on Sandringham Road, Intake.

Mammography and Children’s Speech and Language Therapy will move less than a third of a mile to Devonshire House at Cavendish Court, South Parade.

All services will close their doors at their current locations on Friday 27 March and will reopen at their new venues two days later on Monday 30 March.

Existing patients will be notified of the change of venue ahead of time. Both new clinics will offer on-site car parking, as well as being accessible via regular bus routes.
