The event will start at 10.07am on June, 10.
But it will not reach its maximum until 11.14am – it will finish at 12.26pm.
In Doncaster the best places to watch the partial solar eclipse are Cusworth Hall, Conisbrough Castle and Brodsworth Hall.
But any high up area with minimal infrastructure will do the job.
A solar eclipse happens when the moon comes between the Earth and the Sun.
If you’re planning to watch the eclipse here in Doncaster it’s important to make sure you do so safely.
Do not look directly at the sun during the eclipse as it could seriously damage your eye sight.
It is recommended by scientists to use special eclipse glasses or to place a colander on the ground on top of a piece of white paper.
