Some of the best jumping rabbits in the country showed their skills at Doncaster Racecourse at the weekend, to show their speed over the hurdles on a 10m course at the The Bradford Premier Small Animal Show at the venue.
Nicola Barrett, from Rabbit Jumping UK, said they had brought along some of the best jumpers, Bullseye, Penelope and Big Ben, to have a crack at a few world records at the event.
Her organisation trains rabbits to run the jump courses.

She said: “It is a new set of records being set – it’s 10 jumps being jumped in a minute, and the fastest amount of jumps jumped in a minute.
“This is one of the biggest shows in the year. It brings everyone together, people you’ve not seen all year.”
The rabbit world record attempts were among the highlights of the small animal show, and attracted a crowd of spectators to watch their leaps along the course.
With around 2,500 Guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rabbits and rats attending the show over two days, organisers say the Bradford Premier Small Animal Show is the longest running and biggest small animal show in the UK, staged in the Lazarus Exhibition Hall at the racecourse.
The show has been a key date in the small animal world since 1921. It sees hundreds of breeders of small animals come together under one roof, for the competition.
