PICTURE GALLERY: South Yorkshire residents enjoy sledging after heavy snowfall

Residents across South Yorkshire have enjoyed some festive fun by sledging and building snowmen today.

The county woke to a blanket of snow this morning, with some areas still white this afternoon.

Bolehills Park in Crookes, Sheffield, was popular with people sledging this morning and snowmen have been built across the county.

Here are some pictures taken by our readers today.
