Warren Draper has been a professional photographer for decades but has found that work has dried up over the last seven months due to Covid-19.

Warren is co-founder and manager of Bentley Urban Farm, an upcycled market garden which has been providing food to vulnerable people during the Covid crisis.

He had decided to combine his two passions and use his photography skills to help raise money for the farm.

“Power tools and speakers have been taken which is incredibly frustrating.

“I wanted to find a way to raise money for the farm so I decided to start doing portraits with a pay as you feel price.”

Warren would usually charge around £150 to £200 for a photographic session but has been taking on average just £20 for this new venture.

He is offering the shoots for free for any key workers who want to get involved.

The photo shoots are being held at Bentley Urban Farm with social distancing measures in place but Warren will travel across Doncaster if costs are covered.

He said: “ The idea is that you pay what you like or what you can afford for a digital photographic portrait or series of portraits depending on your budget.

“And all payments help to keep Bentley Urban Farm running.”

Warren hopes to look back at these photos in the future to see what the community was like during Covis-19.

“I hope that actors and those in the entertainment industry who need head shots get in touch with me,” he continued.

“It’s been a really hard time to work in the arts and having a professional image can really help people get work.”
