'Heaven has another little angel'- Heartbreak as beloved Doncaster youngster, six, loses cancer battle
Tributes have poured in for a ‘funny, brave and tenacious’ Doncaster youngster who lost her battle with cancer aged just six.
Little Erin Moran was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Gliomain, in May of this year.
A fundraising campaign was launched by family friend Joe Tillotson to help pay for pioneering treatment abroad, drawing in over £75,000.
But tragically, Erin’s family announced she had passed away on social media this afternoon.

Erin leaves behind her devastated parents Chris and Nina and her big sister, Freya.
The post on Erin’s Big Fundraiser reads: “Heaven has another little angel.
"Heartbroken to share that Erin so sadly passed away, peacefully, and surrounded by her loving family on Sunday evening.
“Her loss will be felt by so many and the world is a much poorer place without such a funny, brave and tenacious little girl.
"Please respect the family’s wishes for privacy at this time. Further updates will follow with regards fundraising efforts.”
Tributes have since poured in for the adored little girl.
Kerrie Byatt posted: “Absolutely devastated for all beautiful Erin's family and friends. I truly have no words other than I'm so so sorry. We live in a terrible world.”
Jodie Causer-Oddy said: “My heart is breaking for you all. How life can be so cruel? I don’t know where to find the words to tell you how sorry we are.”
Kev Potter said: “So sorry for your loss, especially at such a young age. My thoughts go out to all who have been affected by this cruel tragedy.”
