The show has been produced by teacher Scott Willis, and in total, there have been 35 pupils taking part in the performances. It was directed by performing arts teacher Sarah Heath, with music teacher Helen Hunt working as director of music.

It features the songs from the Disney cartoon version of the story, including Be Our Guest, Beauty and the Beast, and Gaston, and ran until Thursday March 5.

Mr Willis said: “They’ve been working on this since the start of September, and all age groups at the school have been involved.

“It’s got all the songs and has been a slightly cut down version of the Broadway version, to be more accessible for schools.
