Doncaster's Yorkshire Wildlife Park to host wedding showcase

On 19 April, between 11am-3pm, the park’s newest event space, Hex Connect, will be transformed into a wedding fair, featuring over a dozen top local wedding exhibitors.

The park will also be showcasing some of its latest new venues, the Attenborough Suite and Darwin suite.

CEO John Minion said: “We are excited to welcome future brides and grooms to the free event to explore everything they need for their special day.

“There will be a number of suppliers, including caterers, wedding dress designers, singers, florists, photographer, hair stylists, makeup artists, and more.

“The showcase brings together Yorkshire’s wedding professionals under one roof, giving couples the chance to start planning their celebrations.”

The event is free for brides and grooms, but registration is required.

The park even offers the chance to tie the knot and then be photographed with ssome of the world’s most beautiful animals.

Mr Minion added: “It is great to see visitors fall in love with the park so much that they choose it as the destination for their wedding.

“We are looking forward to meeting the guests who are dreaming of this wild wedding, where they can explore the venues and the adjacent Hex Wildlife Hotel, and chat to local suppliers which will make their big day.”

There is free parking available on site.

Hex Connect forms part of the Yorkshire Hive, the shopping, dining, and entertainment village.

The Hive is home to a selection of unforgettable dining experiences and boutique stores, brimming with local artisan products, collectable artwork and inspiring gift ideas.

The Hex Wildlife Hotel boasts several luxurious suites, family rooms, standard rooms and accessible options, all offering a comfortable stay for the bride and groom and wedding guests.

A select number of these rooms look over the maned wolves, one of South America’s most incredible species.
