Baxter the Scottish Terrier is Doncaster’s Top Pet.

He won 33 per cent of the vote – up against nine other adorable Doncaster pets.

His owners Wendy and Eddie Carter, said: “Baxter is 5 years old and his character is almost identical to the Scottish terrier in the cartoon Lady and the tramp!

“He is very protective and puck and chooses his friends carefully.

“He loves going in the water, and definitely likes his sleep! He rarely rises in a morning until 9am.”

The winners will soon receive a £50 gift card for coming in first place.

Adorable Baxter won with 33% of the vote.
