Doncaster's Louis Tomlinson in angry, foul-mouthed blast at football's Super League plan

Football fan and Doncaster music sensation Louis Tomlinson has become the latest big name to blast plans for a breakaway European football league.

The proposal by six English clubs, three Italian teams and three Spanish clubs to create their own multi-billion league has met with widespread condemnation from all corners, with world leaders, footballers and even Prince William blasting the moves.

Now the Doncaster-born One Direction star and keen Doncaster Rovers fan has launched an angry attack at the plans on Twitter.

“F*** the super league and the greedy f****** at the top!,” stormed the singer after Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea as well as Italy’s AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus and Spain’s Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona announced plans to form their own break away European Super League

His 36 million Twitter followers appeared to support his stance – while football fans across the globe have also come out against the scheme.
