The shiny First South Yorkshire buses are on route 66 between Bentley, the town centre and Intake in Doncaster.

They link with ‘Tap & Cap’ technology which uses contactless payments to cap travel charges. A customer will never pay more than £4.70 a day or £16.50 per week, no matter how many journeys they make.

If a person currently pays by cash, moving to ‘Tap & Cap’ could save customers money. There’s no need for anyone to work out which ticket they should buy, as the company works out the cheapest on-bus fare for travel.
