Daring duo to take on parachute jump to raise cash for Doncaster care home

A daring duo from Doncaster are taking on a 15,000ft parachute jump to help raise cash to build a new summer house for residents at a local care home.

Kirk James and Dean Miller have agreed to throw themselves out of a plane later this year to raise money for Rossington Royal Care Home.

The pair have set up a JustGiving page to raise £5,000 to help provide the new facility for residents.

Kirk said: “These have been trying times for all of us and both myself and Dean would like to offer any help we can."

On August 18, the pair will take on the 15,000ft tandem parachute jump and Kirk added: “As we have already booked and paid for this jump ourselves, all funds 100% raised will be given to this worthwhile cause.”

"We have also paid to have the entire event videoed from start to finish so you get to see me actually scared.”
