Coronavirus forces Louis Tomlinson to cancel all his European tour dates

The singer had only just kicked off a worldwide tour earlier this week – but was forced to cancel the second date of the tour in Italy due to the country being in lockdown.
Now the former One Direction star has announced he has been forced to pull the plug on all his European mainland tour dates because of the deadly COVID-19 outbreak.

Hide AdAnnouncing the news on Twitter, he wrote: “Can’t believe I’m having to write this, but I’m very sad to say after two incredible shows so far, the rest of my mainland European tour shows have been rescheduled to August.
“I can’t wait to see you all soon. Louis x.”
The rescheduled shows are in Paris, Berlin, Stockholm and Amsterdam.
Three shows in Italy have also been moved to August.
At the moment, his UK and other world dates appear to be unaffected – including a home town date in Doncaster later this month.
He is due to be back on home soil with a date at The Dome on March 27 and last month he staged an album signing at the home of his beloved Doncaster Rovers.

Hide AdThe tour, in support of his album Walls, will visit London, Glasgow and Manchester, alongside Europe, UAE, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, the USA and Canada.
Ahead of the tour, the singer, who first found fame with One Direction on The X-Factor, said: “I feel the most confident I’ve ever been, both as a songwriter and a singer, and the most mature. Of course I want to be successful, but what matters is what my music means to me and what it means to the fans. That’s the priority. The rest we’ll have to wait and see.”
There have been 590 cases of coronavirus so far in Britain, with ten reported deaths.
Mainland Europe has been badly hit with Italy, Spain, France and Germany all reporting thousands of cases.
