Jeremy Corbyn would lend you cash, Boris Johnson would be great to have a pint with while Nigel Farage would get into a fight, a new student survey about politics has revealed.

Nido Student, a leading UK student accommodation provider, wanted to see which politicians students resonated with on different subjects.

The firm asked 1,678 students from all regions of the UK a series of questions, where they had to name the politician most relevant to the scenario and got some interesting results.

Contrary to the UK overall, Londoners would rather go to the pub with Jeremy Corbyn and Scotland Nicola Sturgeon

Michael Gove was voted least likely to give to charity, lend someone £10 and be trusted with a purse/wallet to mind

Jo Swinson was second most likely to be found on a dating app, according to students, with 13% of the vote

While Corbyn is most trusted, they do not see him as someone they’d socialise with at the pub. Likewise, whilst Johnson is top candidate for a pub session, he is not trusted with money or personal information.
