Contactless car parking is coming to Doncaster rail station

Rail commuters will be spared the headache of trying to find somewhere to park their vehicle at Doncaster rail station.

Customers will be able to pre-book a parking space via a LNER app and on the company’s website. On exit , customers will be able to pay via contactless card or the parking app.

Number plate recognition cameras will monitor entrance and exit, drop-off and short stay areas.

The new system will begin in October.
