“It’s open to any creative medium from illustration, paintings to graphic design.

“We want to hear more voices on the topic of the environment.

"We’re looking for people from underrepresented communities and aim to break the bubble of who gets to be an artist.”

Stacie wants to get more people from her hometown involved as she believed that it’s a great opportunity for those who want to get started in the art world.

Doncaster isn’t a place where many doors are opened,” she said.

“Education around the arts isn’t the best and as a creative person myself I rarely meet others from Doncaster who have succeeded in this industry.

“I hope people will give this a go whether they are a beginner or a professional.”

She said that this would be a great way to boost confidence and to encourage more budding creatives to launch careers in the arts.

The deadline to submit art is Monday, January 25.

Winners will have their art shows in an exhibition in 2021.
