Owston Ferry WI raise funds
Visitors to the Coronation Hall in Owston Ferry enjoyed a chat and a cuppa recently.
Members of the village WI organised a coffee morning which raised £250 towards their funds.
Spokesman Tess Johnson said: “I am pleased to say that we had lots of visitors who enjoyed homemade scones with jam and cream with their coffee.
“The tombola sold out and the white elephant and cake stalls were very busy.”
The morning concluded with a raffle.
