There are good care homes in Doncaster

My brother lives at Amersall Court at Scawthorpe. He has lived under DMBC's care for 45 years, first at Amersall House and now Amersall Court, and it is the first time it has had such an award.

The manager, Tommy Wright, has an excellent team of dedicated staff and they have worked together with residents and their families to provide a service that's suited to each person's individual needs and choices.

The standard of care is amazing and we are all thrilled that their dedication has been recognised.

It would be much appreciated if you could mention us in your paper. You hear some horrible stories about care homes and I thought it would be nice for people to know that there are some good ones out there, and Amersall Court is one of them. Thank you
