New Weldricks pharmacy opens its doors

Offering more space and on-site parking, the new pharmacy has already welcomed a large number of existing customers as well as new ones, all of whom have been very impressed with the result of the relocation.

Commenting on the move, pharmacist at the Dunscroft branch for the last six years, Mark Davison, said: “Our premises here in the Abbey Shopping Centre are bright, airy, modern and spacious and, being a brand new shell, we’ve been able to set up the pharmacy exactly how we want it.

“Over the last few days we’ve been delighted to see lots of friendly faces popping in and we’ve also have lots of new customers, many of whom have signed up for our popular prescription collection service. It’s been very busy with a constant flow of people through the door so, all in all, a great start for us here in our new location.

“I’d like to thank all of the team here who have worked so hard to make sure the move went smoothly. They worked over the weekend to get everything up and running ready for our opening at 9am on Monday morning; I’m really proud of them. Thanks also to our operations team who made sure the shop was fully stocked in time for the move and our delivery drivers who transported all of our supplies between the two branches.”

Concludes Mark: “Weldricks have invested a significant amount of money in the new store and we’re determined to make it a success. We’ve had nothing but positive feedback from customers so far and we look forward to further encouraging comments and helping even more people in our community to get well, local.”
