Children in Doncaster are set to get a new play park and play equipment to enjoy thanks to a £75,000 community grant which will transform the existing playground.

Funding has been approved for the new and revamped facility at Barnsley Road playing field in Scawsby thanks to the £74,904 donation from FCC Communities Foundation.

The money will be used to renew the existing play park with new, challenging and interesting play equipment and the installation of new safety surfaces – with a greater focus on inclusion so the facilities can be used by all.
