The get-togethers allow veterans to meet up in Doncaster

A new monthly social hub for military veterans is launching in Doncaster.

Taking place at Askern Library, the group will offer local ex-service members a dedicated space for community support.

The Armed Forces Veterans’ Meeting will take place on the last Monday of every month, providing an open door for all former personnel from the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force to connect with fellow service members

Commencing this September, organisers have confirmed that the inaugural gathering is scheduled for Monday, September 28, running from 10.30 AM to 11.30 AM.

The event is designed as an informal, welcoming environment focused on support, friendship and remembrance of former colleagues.

Tea and coffee will be available.
