Men flee from dramatic high speed smash on busy Doncaster road

A trio of men reportedly fled from this car after it was involved in a high speed smash on one of Doncaster’s busiest roads.

The black BMW demolished railings and left debris scattered across the carriageway following the smash on Balby Road late last night.

Residents living near to the scene of the smash close to Balby Flyover reported hearing a large bang and then saw the three occupants running away from the scene of the crash, which took place at about 10.30pm last night.

One said: “I was just about to fall asleep when I heard it.

"Three occupants all ran from the scene. The driver who was following said they were covered in blood as they exited the vehicle.”

By the time emergency services arrived, the occupants were nowhere to be seen, another eyewitness said.
