Mayor Ros Jones showed her support for the campaign but was not among hundreds of people who gathered in Sir Nigel Gresley Square for the peaceful anti-racism demonstration yesterday afternoon, borne in the wake of the killing of a black African American man George Floyd by a white police officer in the USA.
