A man has been remanded in custody after an attack on emergency worker and criminal damage outside a Doncaster cafe.

Police were called on Sunday (4 August) at 10.51am to a cafe in Station Road, Carcroft to reports of threatening behaviour and criminal damage, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.

Ahmad Mugel, 27, of Station Road, Doncaster, has been charged with criminal damage and assault on an emergency worker and was remanded in custody to appear before Doncaster Magistrates' Court today (August 6).
