Isle property trashed by intruders

Bethany Rodgers said people should step up security after she returned to her home near Owston Ferry on Saturday morning to see the damage.

She said: “Our caravan was trashed, presumably as they looked for items of value, but I don’t know what they were after as they took nothing with them.

“They had even entered the barn where I keep my horses.”

The unwelcome visit had been betwen 5pm on Friday night and 7am the next morning.

“Everyone should lock up well and keep an eye out,” added Bethany. “I’ve been told there’s been a few break-ins of late.”
