Isle fire crews attend incidents

The bridge on the A18 was closed to motorists after a road collision between a car and a crop spraying machine.

Fire crews helped to release the male driver of the car who was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital for treatment.

*Isle crews had a weekend call-out on Sunday, to a fire at West Butterwick.

The blaze started in an electric oven but was extinguished by the time the fire service got to the address at West Street and North Street.
