Industrial digger in flames in 'accidental' Doncaster blaze

An industrial digger went up in flames at a site in Doncaster over the weekend in a blaze which has been described as ‘accidental’.

The digger, described by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue officials as a JCB, caught light by accident, according to officers.

Two fire crews from Doncaster were sent to put the flames out at after they received a call at around 1.40pm on Saturday.

The fire engines were on the site for about 55 minutes dealing with the blaze on West Moor Lane, Armthorpe,
